Got dropped off in Abadin where we finished yesterday . Set off in overcast conditions for Vilalba after our 2nd night in the seminary. Yoghurt and fruit - the breakfast of champions - but not enough for 20kms of walking .
This part of the walk was characterised by the increasing use of the camino signature (the shell) everywhere and the first signage to Santiago. The way finding now has a countdown of the kms to go until we get there.
The walk was beautiful and we met friendly people and animals along the way. The locals wish us "Buen Camino!" At siesta time everything was quiet and even the animals rested.
A brief rain shower saw the ponchos come out.
Once we reached our hotel we decided to have a late lunch , with refreshing vino blanco. We finally got why the Spanish do it this way . Great way to spend a Sunday - good walk, good food, good wine , good company.
Hi, I forgot to ask how the toiletting is going during the day. Its more interesting when there are lots of people walking with you.
