This picturesque preserved medieval village is all cut rock .
Only 20 years ago the bottom of the houses housed cows. Apparently the town was filthy.
The hotel was built on the foundations of an 18 th century palace. It has been decorated with furniture and objects from that period , in perfect harmony with the surroundings.
Went to a inquisition museum. Horrible but part of history.
